In some case the toolbar may not install correctly and as a results not function or show up in excel.


When this occurs you may receive an error when uninstalling it and have trouble reinstalling the toolbar.


Warning. The following steps may affect other installed addin so be sure to uninstall them and reinstall them afterwards.


Remove ClickOnce cache folder.

 

    1. Uninstall the Add-in

    2. Remove any other add-ins, since they will most likely be affected

    3. Open an explorer window to the ClickOnce cache folder, 

        a. for XP: C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Local Settings\Apps\2.0, 

        b. for Vista and Windows 7, 8, 10: C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Apps\2.0

        c. Press the Windows button

        d. In the Start Search text box type "%LocalAppData%, press Enter

        e. Go to the 'Apps' directory and delete the '2.0' folder

    4. Reinstall the add-in
