Getting Started
To begin first select the profile you will be working with.
Once this is done the Calculate Mappings button will become available.
Pressing this will bring up the Mappings form.
An Overview of the Mapping Form
The mapping form requires that data be import before you will be able to map accounts.
Important Note Related To Mapping
Ingauge Data Points automatically map to them selves when importing data. There is no need to map these items. These will be marked as Manual Allocation in the Get Data report covered later in the documentations.
If you mapped the items as well then the values will get duplicated in the calculations.
Accounts Selection
This section shows the accounts by the selected view options. This will default to unmapped items when the form is opened.
By default you will be able to select a single account.
This will also show the total value of the account for the latest month in the dataset next to the account name.
To select multiple accounts enable the To Multiple Accounts options in the Mapping Options
Account Selection Options
Sort Alphabetically
Will sort the Account by there descriptions alphabetically.
Show Shared Account Only
Will only list accounts that have been marked Yes in the Is Shared marker in the data import
Exclude This Account
Will automatically populate when an account is selected
Check this will exclude the account from showing up for this profile in the unmapped or mapped views.
Unchecking this will include the account when for this profile in the unmapped or mapped views.
Exclude Globally
Functions the same as Exlcude but will be applied to all mappings
Mapping Selection
When an account is selected in the Account Selection the Mappings Selection will populate with the items that are mapped to the selected account.
Selecting a mapping will cause the mapping field to fill with that mappings information.
Account Information
This section show information on the selected account.
View Options
Selections here will populate the Account Selection fields with the appropriate accounts.
Mapping Options
To Multiple Account
Allows mapping the current setting to multiple account
When this is enabled the user can select multiple check boxes in the Account Selection to apply the current mapping to
To Multiple Data Points
Allows mapping multiple data points to the same account
When this is enabled the user can set the number of mappings to do and process them at the same time.
This only applied to Mapping Type: Direct
Mapping Types
Direct
Direct allocation a set % of the account to the selected Ingauge Data Point.

Percentage
Ratio
Ratio allocation allows you to select multiple data points and accounts to determine the % of the selected accounts net change that should be applied to the data points.

Grouped Ratio
Does the same as ratio but allows you to apply these mappings to multiple accounts
Grouped Percentage
Does the same as percentage but allows you to apply these mappings to multiple accounts
Saved Settings
Saving Settings allows you to set up mappings and save them so they can be easily loaded for another profile.
They are specific to the mapping type that is selected.
Set the values for the mapping then press the Save Mapping button.
To load a saved mapping click the Save Setting tab. Click the desired mapping item and press the load mapping button.
*For ration you need to only select one of that ratios mapping items to load all of them*
Calculating Mappings
Once you've completed the mappings close the form and press the Calculate Mappings button.
Then select the months to calculate and press process
When you change or add mapping you will need to calculate all the months of data.
